Hi friends, families, Malaysian, and the World!
My name is Mohd Shaiza. Me and my group of friends, LP142, are inviting you to open your heart and soul for these special group of people who needs our attention and awareness of their lives in this world.
The namely Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Kirtarsh (PJKKKUK) was established in Bukit Beruntung with 2 inmates but today this Pusat accommodate 50 residents and few more in pending list due to insufficient funds. The main purpose of this Pusat to provide vocational training, special education, shelter food, medication and love. This is non-profitable, nonpolitical
and non-religious centre.
Mr Manivannan who has an esteem vision and devoted his life towards the betterment of these special children initiated this PJKKKUK and the strong reason for this vision due to one of his sibling is a handicapped too. He wants these children to be recognized and given a status as normal children in the society. We are also educating all the parents with special children to accept the fact not to have negative thought in bringing them up as a normal human
being.
Currently we have a facility in a bungalow. The current premises was offered by a generous couples from Petaling Jaya who had running a prominent electricity appliance business for couple of years. They also get us another building for these children since we cannot accommodate them in one building.Our 50 residents are from multiply disability such as Down syndrome, autism, slow learner, spastic, audio impairment,children under privileged from
crisis home and old folks as their ages from 1+ to 84 years from every part of Malaysia.
The centre generates fund through sales of souvenirs specially designed by these children such as key-chain holders, road tax stickers, pens, posters, bookmarks and children educational materials were income generated are utilized towards the upkeep of the centre. Our centre monthly expenses averaged at close to RM20,000.00 per month. It has been difficult for us to survive with the income we are getting from sales of small souvenirs.
We would appreciate any help you can offer beyond the borders of your community and with the help of people like you will make a huge difference to these children’s. Your contributions will be used to attain our vision and a better world for the population of special children under care in Malaysia and you can see smiles on their faces of those whom you helped. His or her smiles are the greatest reward for everyone.
We would like to appeal to your generosity and your kindness to help them reach for the stars. Your contribution will open the doors to a better life for these children’s. We welcome donation / sponsor of any type of help to make the world a better place for them for long term basic.
The Pusat needs help in renovation work, which cost around Rm 150,000.000 for both homes, adoption of our monthly expenses. May god bless your kindness for being a part of this organization.
